Nobody likes surprises especially on their monthly statement. In the interest of being fully transparent and forthcoming with our pricing, we're listing all the fees that you could possibly incur as a Questrade customer. The following fees are based on specific actions you take, so you may never see them but if you do, rest assured we're keeping them low.
Rollover costs
You will be charged a rollover cost for any position that remains open after 5 p.m. ET. Rollover costs vary depending on the product you are trading.
CFD expiration
CFDs on commodities and indices follow an expiration calendar. CFDs on gold, silver
CFD carrying cost
Overnight positions in Expiring CFDs are subject to a carrying cost. The carrying cost is calculated on the basis of the daily margin requirement and applied when a position is held overnight. The carrying cost varies depending on the CFD, for the cost of a specific CFD call us at 1.866.980.9591.
CFD finance cost
As non-expiring CFDs are margined products, you finance the traded value through an overnight credit/debit charge. This only applies when you hold a non-expiring CFD position overnight. If you open and close a CFD position within the same trading day, you are not subject to overnight financing. The credit/debit charge varies depending on the CFD, for the cost of a specific CFD call us at 1.866.980.9591.
