Track the status of your money movement in the Questrade mobile app
The Questrade app shows you where your deposits, withdrawals, and transfers are as they process, so you do not have to dig through your history to check.
Before you start
Use the latest version of the Questrade app on iOS or Android. Status tracking is only available on iOS version 2.0.0 and Android version 2.0.0, or higher.
Status tracking covers requests that take time to clear: deposits, withdrawals, transfer funds between your Questrade accounts, and transfers from another institution. It does not track real-time activity such as trades.
Where to find your request status
Your request status lives on the Manage tab.
Open the Questrade app.
Tap Manage in the bottom navigation.
Look above your account actions (New account, Deposit, Transfer, Withdraw). Any request that is in progress shows as a status card.
It may take 2-3 seconds for the status to load when you navigate to the Manage tab.
If you have no requests in progress, no cards appear and your account actions move to the top of the page.
When you have more than one update, the cards stack with the most recent on top. Tap the stack, or tap See all, to open the in-progress page where every recent update is listed. Tap Show less to collapse the stack again.
What a status card shows
A status card gives you the current state of one request at a glance:
The request type and its status, for example Deposit processing.
The amount and the account it applies to, such as $4,000.00 CAD to your Self-directed Margin account ending in 1234. Transfer-in cards do not show an amount.
A timestamp for the latest update.
A progress bar. Green means your request is moving forward. Orange means it is delayed or needs your attention. A red dot means it did not go through.
A short line of detail when there is something to know, such as how long a step usually takes.
Statuses you might see
Each request posts a new status as it moves along. Only the latest status for a request stays on screen; earlier ones are replaced.

Transfer complete | The transfer is done. |
Transfer cancelled | The transfer was cancelled. |

Dismiss a status card
You can clear a card once its request reaches a final state: received, completed, cancelled, or unsuccessful.
Tap a card, or tap See all, to open the in-progress page.
Swipe the card to the left to dismiss the card.
A short message appears at the bottom of the screen confirming the card is gone. Tap Undo in that message to bring it back. Once you dismiss a card, it stays dismissed even after you close the app or log back in.
You cannot dismiss a card while its request is still in progress or when it needs your attention, such as Action required. A card in a final state that you do not dismiss clears on its own after 7 calendar days.
If something goes wrong
You do not see any status cards. You have no requests in progress, or you have dismissed them. Completed and cancelled requests are also cleared after 7 business days. To review past requests, open your account history.
A card says Deposit delayed. Your deposit is taking longer than the usual time. You do not need to do anything. The status updates on its own once the deposit clears.
A card says Action required. Your transfer-in is paused because Questrade needs more from you. Tap View transfer details on the card and follow the steps to keep it moving.
A request shows as unsuccessful. The request did not go through. Check your email for the reason, or contact your bank if a deposit was declined. You can then submit the request again.
You cannot swipe a card away. Only requests in a final state can be dismissed. A card that is still in progress, delayed, or needs your attention stays on the page until it resolves.
