    Suspicious email (Phishing)

If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from us, please report it to [email protected].

If possible, please send the email as an attachment rather than forwarding it. This helps our experts find the source of the scam faster. Instructions on how to do this -

    • Outlook: Select the email and press Ctrl+Alt+F.
    • Gmail: Click the three dots (More), select Download message, and attach that file to a new email.
    • Apple Mail (Mac): Right-click the email in your inbox and select Forward as Attachment.
    • On a phone: Simply forward the email to [email protected].

    Suspicious text message (Smishing)

    • Take a screenshot of the text (making sure the sender's number is visible) and email it to [email protected].
    • Forward the text to 7726 (SPAM). This free service, managed by Canada’s cellular providers, alerts Canadian carriers to investigate and block scammers.

    Suspicious website or Social Media

If you find a suspicious website, profile, or fraudulent ad claiming to be Questrade:

    • Website: Copy the link address and email it to [email protected].
    • Social Media: Take a screenshot of the fake profile or ad and email it to [email protected] with the link, using the subject ‘Social Media’. You can also use the platform’s “Report” button to flag it as a scam.

    A note on your privacy
