Who is eligible for the refer-a-friend program?

If you have at least one active Questrade account, you can refer up to 30 people who are new to Questrade each year. To be considered new, your friend should not have an existing application or account.

They will be able to use your code when they open their first Questrade Self-Directed Investing or QuestWealth account. For both of you to earn $50 each, they will need to finish opening their account within 60 days.

My friend and I followed all the steps, when can we expect the reward in our account?

After your friend finishes opening a new account with us, as long as they finish it within 60 days, you will both receive the reward the following month.

My friend couldn’t find where to add the referral code, can they still add it now?

If an account number hasn’t been created, please have your friend contact us by phone or chat and we will be happy to help.

However, if they have been issued with an account number and it appears on their application, they won’t be able to add the referral code anymore.

Why don't I see the reward in my account yet?

• The new account was not completed within 60 days
• The friend already has an account or application with Questrade
• The referral code was not entered correctly when starting the application
• All eligibility requirements are not yet met

I have multiple accounts, which account will be credited with the reward?

Your reward will be paid directly to your account. If you have active multiple Questrade accounts, your reward will be paid to your billing account.

To check which account is your billing account, please go to Account Management > Account Management, under “Billing account”.

The same goes for your friend. The reward will be paid to their new account or if they opened multiple accounts, it will be paid to their billing account.

• Only new customers can use the referral code
• Every new customer can only use one referral code
• Referral codes cannot be combined with other offer codes
• You and your friend will receive $50 in your Questrade account after meeting all eligibility requirements
• You can refer up to 30 people per year

This offer is in Canadian dollars and Questrade reserves the right at any time to modify, suspend or cancel the reward, the use of Referral Codes or participation in any rewards program for any or all Questrade customers, at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
