Win a Luxury Wilderness Getaway + a Decade of TFSA Contributions

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. See below for full Contest details. Participation in this Contest constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of, and agreement to be legally bound by, these Official Rules.

1. CONTEST PERIOD

The Remix Your Life Contest (the “Contest”) begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on June 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on July 15, 2026 (the “Contest Period”).

2. ELIGIBILITY

All entrants must be legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence as of the date of entry. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

Despite the foregoing, the officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives of Sponsor and of Questrade Financial Group Inc. and each of its subsidiaries and affiliates, any Contest judges, contributing influencers whose Custom Indexes are featured by Questrade as Template Indexes or Published Indexes, and if applicable each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), and members of the immediate families (defined as parents, siblings, children and spouses, regardless of where they live) or households (whether or not related) of such officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives are not eligible to enter or participate nor win a Prize (defined below) in the Contest.

3. AGREEMENT TO BE LEGALLY BOUND

By participating in the Contest, each entrant (the "Entrant") agrees to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and all decisions of Questrade, Inc. ("Sponsor"), which shall be final and binding, without right of appeal, in all matters relating to this Contest and the awarding of a Prize, including without limitation eligibility and/or disqualification of entries.

4. HOW TO ENTER

Participants may enter the Contest in one of two ways, as follows:

(1) Enter by Creating your Index (Primary Method)

To receive entries into the Contest using this method, you must complete the following during the Contest Period:

(a) Activation Bonus (10,000 Entries):

Open a Questrade Custom Index Account or already have one in good standing (the “Custom Index Account”) and create at least one Custom Index linked to that Custom Index Account. For the purposes of this Activation Bonus, creating a Custom Index does not require funding the Custom Index Account or submitting an Index Execution Instruction.

To receive the Activation Bonus, the Custom Index Account must have a complete status and be in good standing as of the end of the Contest Period, and at least one Custom Index meeting the criteria above must remain linked to the Custom Index Account as of the end of the Contest Period.

Limit: One (1) Activation Bonus of 10,000 entries per Entrant, regardless of how many Custom Indexes are created or how many Custom Index Accounts are opened.

(a.1) Early Adopter Bonus

Notwithstanding the foregoing, an Entrant who, as of the moment immediately prior to the commencement of the Contest Period (i.e., as of 11:59:59 p.m. ET on May 31, 2026), satisfied each of the following:

(i) had opened a Custom Index Account with a complete status and in good standing, and

(ii) had created at least one Custom Index linked to that Custom Index Account as described in Section 4(1)(a) above,

will receive a one-time bonus of twenty thousand (20,000) entries (the “Early Adopter Bonus”) as their base entry, provided that the Custom Index Account remains in good standing and at least one such Custom Index remains linked to it as of the end of the Contest Period.

Limit: One (1) Early Adopter Bonus per Entrant. An Entrant who qualifies for the Early Adopter Bonus receives only the Early Adopter Bonus as their base entry; the Activation Bonus and Enter by Essay base entry are not available to such Entrant. For greater certainty, an Entrant who qualifies for the Early Adopter Bonus remains eligible to earn Bonus Entries under Section 4(1)(b).

(b) Bonus Entries (5,000 Entries per $500 Deposited):

After completing the Activation Bonus or qualifying for the Early Adopter Bonus, Entrants may earn additional entries by depositing funds into their Custom Index Account(s). For clarity, deposits made during the Contest Period into any of the Entrant’s Custom Index Accounts qualify for additional entries. For every five hundred Canadian dollars ($500 CAD) deposited (each a “Qualifying Deposit”), the Entrant will receive five thousand (5,000) additional entries.

Deposits must be received and credited to the Custom Index Account used to qualify for the Activation Bonus or Early Adopter Bonus, as applicable, during the Contest Period to qualify. For clients holding more than one Custom Index Account, the oldest qualifying account that meets the criteria of the Activation Bonus or Early Adopter Bonus will be used as the Entrant’s account for this Contest.

Partial deposits below the $500 threshold do not qualify for any Bonus Entries but will accumulate toward the next threshold. There is no maximum number of Bonus Entries an Entrant may earn during the Contest Period.

For greater clarity, funds used for a Qualifying Deposit must be funded with net-new assets, which are assets originating from outside of Questrade and not from another existing Questrade account.

Hold Requirement. Qualifying Deposits that are subsequently withdrawn before the end of the Contest Period will result in the corresponding bonus entries being revoked. The Sponsor reserves the right to verify all deposit activity.

A snapshot will be taken on or shortly after the end of the Contest Period, but in no event later than seven (7) calendar days following the end of the Contest Period, that will assess compliance with the Hold Requirement and the total dollar amount counting toward Bonus Entries (the “Qualifying Deposit Amount”). The following formula will apply for the purpose of calculating the Hold Requirement:

Qualifying Deposit Amount = A - B

Where:

A is the sum total value of all Qualifying Deposits made to the Custom Index Account during the Contest Period.

B is the sum total value of any withdrawals or transfer-outs or other transactions during the Contest Period that reduce the balance of Qualifying Deposits in the Custom Index Account. For purposes of determining whether a withdrawal, transfer-out, or other transaction reduces the balance of Qualifying Deposits, any such reduction in the balance of the Custom Index Account during the Contest Period will be deemed to first reduce funds in the Custom Index Account that are not Qualifying Deposits, with any excess then deemed to reduce Qualifying Deposits in the order in which they were made. For greater clarity, market fluctuation will not affect the Qualifying Deposit Amount calculation.

(2) Enter by Essay (No Purchase Method)

To enter without opening a Questrade Custom Index Account or creating a Custom Index, during the Contest Period, submit a mail-in entry request to receive one (1) voucher of 10,000 entries (equivalent to one Activation Bonus). To enter via this method, handwrite your first and last name, street address, phone number, and email address, along with a handwritten 250-word or longer essay about "why you should win the Remix Your Life contest and how you would remix your financial future", on a postcard and mail your entry to: Care of Contest Submission, 5700 Yonge St, North York, ON M2M 4K2.

To be eligible for the Prize drawing, your mail-in entry must be postmarked during the Contest Period and received prior to the Selection Date. If the last day of the entry period is on a Sunday or Provincial Holiday, then your mail-in entry request must be postmarked the next business day and received prior to the Selection Date. Limit of one (1) mail-in entry request per person.

All essay entries must be original works of the entrant, must not have been produced using generative AI or any other external tools, and must directly address the essay question as stated in these Official Rules. Entries failing to meet these criteria may be disqualified in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor.

General Entry Provisions

Where applicable, if there is a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the Prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the Questrade Custom Index Account or, if the Entrant does not have one, the email address associated with the winning entry. The “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the Questrade Custom Index Account or email address is assigned by Questrade or, for an email address, their Internet service provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. If a dispute cannot be resolved to Sponsor's satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.

Sponsor may prohibit an Entrant from participating in the Contest or winning a Prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines or suspects that said Entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, deceiving or using other unfair playing practices. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Neither the Sponsor nor its agents assume responsibility for third parties' failure to act in accordance with Sponsor's instructions pertaining to the implementation of the Contest.

Your entry may be rejected if, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor, it is not fully completed with all required information and submitted and received in accordance with these Official Rules during the Contest Period. Entries that are garbled, corrupted, or unintelligible for any reason, are void and will not be accepted. Multiple Entrants are not allowed to share the same email address. Proof of entry submission or request does not constitute proof of receipt. The Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, illegible, misdirected, delayed, postage due, incomplete or incompatible Entries (all of which are void).

5. ENTRY LIMITS AND ENTRY WEIGHTING

Each Entrant may earn one (1) base entry of 10,000 entries (via either the Activation Bonus or Enter by Essay) or, if eligible, one (1) Early Adopter Bonus of 20,000 entries in lieu thereof, and unlimited Bonus Entries of 5,000 entries each (via $500 deposit increments), subject to the conditions in Section 4.

An Entrant who enters via both the Activation Bonus method and the Enter by Essay method will receive only one (1) base entry of 10,000 entries total. For the purposes of this Contest, such Entrants will only be credited for the Activation Bonus method. An Entrant who qualifies for the Early Adopter Bonus is not eligible to also receive the Activation Bonus or the Enter by Essay base entry; in such case, only the Early Adopter Bonus will be credited.

Any attempted participation beyond this limit or multiple entries received from any person (including, without limitation, by providing multiple sets of false contact information) are void and they may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Where applicable, for greater certainty and the avoidance of any doubt, you can only use one (1) Questrade Custom Index Account and one (1) email to enter the Contest

If it is discovered by the Sponsor (using any evidence or other information made available to or otherwise discovered by the Sponsor) that any person has attempted to: (i) exceed any of the limits stated in these Official Rules; and/or (ii) use multiple names, identities, email addresses and/or any automated, macro, script, robotic or other system(s) or program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in or to disrupt this Contest; then he/she may be disqualified from the Contest in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor.

6. PRIZE

There is one (1) grand prize (the "Prize") available to be won, consisting of two components:

(a) The Remix Retreat (Approximate Retail Value: $20,000 CAD)

An all-expenses-paid luxury wilderness getaway in Canada for the winner and one (1) guest, including:

  • 3 night accommodations at premium Canadian wilderness resort Nimmo Bay, BCReturn flights for two (2) from anywhere in Canada

  • All-inclusive meals, guided excursions, and wellness experiences as offered in the “Wild & Refined” Nimmo Bay package.

  • Airport transfers (floatplane, helicopter, or ground transportation as applicable)

The resort destination will be selected by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. Upon Prize confirmation, the winner will complete the following steps to coordinate the Remix Retreat:

  1. Sponsor Contact: The winner will be contacted by a designated Sponsor representative within five (5) business days of Prize confirmation to begin trip coordination.

  2. Travel Date Selection: The winner will work with the Sponsor to select mutually agreeable travel dates, subject to resort availability. Travel must be booked within twelve (12) months of the Prize claim date.

  3. Itinerary Customization: The winner will work directly with the Sponsor and the selected resort's guest services team to customize their itinerary, including the selection of available guided excursions, wellness experiences, and other resort-offered activities. Final availability is subject to resort scheduling and capacity.

  4. Guest Confirmation: The winner must confirm their guest. The guest must be of the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and will be required to sign a liability release and any additional waivers required by the resort prior to travel.

  5. Booking & Travel Arrangements: All travel arrangements, including flights and transfers, will be booked by the Sponsor on the winner's behalf.

If the winner fails to coordinate and complete travel within twelve (12) months of the Prize claim date, the Remix Retreat component of the Prize will be forfeited and the Sponsor will have no further obligation with respect to that component.

(b) Remix Royalties — A Decade of TFSA Contributions (Value: $70,000 CAD)

The Sponsor will award the winner seven thousand Canadian dollars ($7,000 CAD) per year for a period of ten (10) consecutive years (each, an “Annual Award”), for a total value of seventy thousand Canadian dollars ($70,000 CAD),  in each case paid out into a Questrade or QWM non-registered account or, at the winner’s election in accordance with this section 6(b), a Questrade or QWM tax-free savings account (“TFSA”), in each case with a complete status and in good standing held in the name of the winner (the “Award Payout Account”).

If at the date of a payout the winner does not have at least one Award Payout Account, the winner will be disqualified from that and all future payouts. Sponsor reserves the right to contact the winner and offer an opportunity to open an eligible Award Payout Account to receive the Annual Award(s) in their sole and absolute discretion. In the event the winner has several eligible accounts, the winner will be required to provide Sponsor with the account number of the eligible Award Payout Account they would like the Annual Award(s) deposited to.

TFSA Election. Prior to the first Annual Award payout, the winner may elect to have their Annual Award payouts deposited directly into an Award Payout Account that is a TFSA rather than a non-registered account. To make a valid TFSA election, the winner must, no later than ten (10) business days prior to the scheduled Annual Award payout date: (i) hold a Questrade or QWM TFSA with a complete status and in good standing; (ii) provide Sponsor with the account number of the elected TFSA Award Payout Account; and (iii) sign and return an acknowledgement and release in form and substance satisfactory to the Sponsor (the "TFSA Acknowledgement") confirming that the winner: (A) is a Canadian resident for tax purposes; (B) has sufficient available TFSA contribution room to receive the Annual Award without exceeding their TFSA contribution limit; (C) acknowledges that the deposit will use the winner's TFSA contribution room and that the winner is solely responsible for any taxes, penalties, or interest assessed by the Canada Revenue Agency in respect of the Annual Award or its deposit, including without limitation the tax on excess TFSA amounts under section 207.02 of the Income Tax Act (Canada); and (D) releases the Sponsor and the Promotion Entities from any liability arising from or in connection with the TFSA election. A TFSA election applies only to the Annual Award to which it relates and must be made afresh for each subsequent Annual Award. If no valid TFSA election is made in respect of an Annual Award, that Annual Award will be deposited into a non-registered Award Payout Account in accordance with this Section 6(b). Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any TFSA election that does not satisfy the requirements above.

The first payout will be made within fifteen (15) business days of the Prize claim date, and each subsequent Annual Award payout will be made on or about the same date each following year.

  • Contributions are subject to the winner maintaining an active, open, and in-good-standing Award Payout Account at Questrade for the full ten (10) year period.

  • If the winner closes their Questrade Award Payout Account, fails to maintain the account in good standing, or becomes a non-resident of Canada for tax purposes at any point during the ten (10) year period, the remaining Annual Awards will be forfeited and the Sponsor will have no further obligation to make any payments. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, continue, modify, or otherwise accommodate any remaining Annual Awards where strict application of the foregoing conditions would, in the Sponsor's reasonable judgment, produce an outcome inconsistent with the spirit of the Prize.

  • Annual Awards will be deposited as cash.

Total Approximate Prize Value: $90,000 CAD

Promotional Activities. As a condition of Prize claim, the winner (and, where the context requires, the winner’s guest in respect of the Remix Retreat) will be required to participate in promotional activities organized by the Sponsor in connection with the Contest, which may include a filmed handoff event, on-camera and written interviews, photo sessions, behind-the-scenes filming and recording during the Remix Retreat, and similar promotional engagements (collectively, “Promotional Activities”). The winner agrees to make themselves reasonably available for Promotional Activities at times and locations designated by the Sponsor and to provide, and to use commercially reasonable efforts to procure from their guest, the consents, releases and authorizations described in Section 12 and the Release.

The Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be substituted, transferred, assigned or otherwise altered, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a Prize component of greater or equivalent monetary value if the Prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes or prize components. Any other costs, taxes, penalties, or expenses associated with the Prize not specified herein will be the responsibility of the winner. The winner, by accepting the Prize, gives Questrade, Inc. and its affiliates full rights to use the winner's name, and the winner's name may be posted online nationally.

7. WINNER SELECTION

On or about July 30, 2026, at 5700 Yonge St, North York, ON M2M 4K2 at 12:00 p.m. ET (the "Selection Date"), a random draw will be conducted from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period for the purpose of selecting one (1) potential Prize winner (subject to satisfying the Prize claim conditions below).

Each entry of record counts individually toward the draw. For example, an Entrant with an Activation Bonus (10,000 entries) and two (2) Bonus Entries (5,000 entries each) would have 20,000 total entries in the draw. By way of further example, an Entrant who qualifies for the Early Adopter Bonus (20,000 entries) and earns two (2) Bonus Entries (5,000 entries each) would have 30,000 total entries in the draw.

Odds of winning the Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received within the Contest Period.

8. VERIFICATION

All Entries are subject to verification at any time and for any reason. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Sponsor — including, without limitation, government-issued photo identification): (i) for the purposes of verifying an individual's eligibility to participate in this Contest; (ii) for the purposes of verifying the eligibility and/or legitimacy of any entry, Custom Index creation, deposit, or other information submitted (or purportedly submitted) for the purposes of this Contest; and/or (iii) for any other reason the Sponsor deems necessary, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this Contest in accordance with these Official Rules. Failure to provide such proof to the complete satisfaction of the Sponsor within the timeline specified by the Sponsor may result in disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor.

9. SELECTED ENTRANT PRIZE CLAIM CONDITIONS

A selected Entrant is not a winner of the Prize unless and until the selected Entrant's eligibility and the potential winning entry have been verified and the selected Entrant has been notified that verification is complete. Winning the Prize is contingent on fulfilling all the requirements set forth herein.

The selected Entrant will be notified by email at the email address associated with their entry. In order to be declared the Prize winner, the selected Entrant must: (i) respond to the notification of selection within five (5) business days of the first attempt by Sponsor; (ii) correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise; (iii) sign and return to Sponsor, within five (5) business days of it being sent by Sponsor, a written declaration and release form, releasing the Promotion Entities from any liability in connection with this Contest or the use, misuse, awarding or possession of any Prize (the "Release"); (iv) have already opened or agree to open an Award Payout Account (required for the Remix Royalties component of the Prize); (v) be able to claim the Prize within thirty (30) business days from the notification date in 9(i); (vi) participate in Promotional Activities as described in Section 6 and provide (and procure from the winner’s guest, where applicable) all related consents, releases and authorizations described in Section 12 and the Release; and (vii) otherwise comply with these Official Rules.

Return of any Prize notification as undeliverable, inability to reach the selected Entrant, or failure of the selected Entrant to respond to the notification within five (5) business days of the first attempt by Sponsor or Sponsor's agent, failure to provide proof of eligibility (if requested), Release, or other required documentation in a timely manner, failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or other non-compliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification, forfeiture of the Prize and, at Sponsor's sole discretion, selection of an alternate eligible Entrant for the forfeited Prize in accordance with these Official Rules, who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner. This process will be repeated up to three (3) times, after which point, if a winner cannot be declared, the Prize will not be awarded. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify the notification procedures in connection with the selection of an alternate winner, if any.

If a winner is not an existing Questrade client, the winner must meet client onboarding requirements and agree to the applicable client account agreements. The Prize is conditional upon successful account opening within a timeframe specified by Sponsor.

10. RIGHT TO VOID / TERMINATE / SUSPEND / MODIFY

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, suspend or modify this Contest, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice or obligation. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Sponsor may exercise these rights for any reason including, but not limited to: (a) any factor that interferes with the proper conduct of the Contest as contemplated by these Official Rules;  (b) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, programming errors, or technical failures;  (c) to ensure the fairness, integrity, and proper conduct of the Contest; (d) to adhere to any changes in any applicable laws or regulations; (e) any force majeure event, including any act of God, pandemic, epidemic, natural disaster, war, terrorism, civil unrest, governmental action, labour dispute, or failure of public utilities or communications networks; or (f) any other reason deemed necessary or appropriate by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of the Contest, violates the Official Rules, or acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASES

BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, ENTRANTS AGREE TO RELEASE AND INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE SPONSOR, ANY OF ITS ADVERTISING, PROMOTIONAL, PUBLICITY, PRODUCTION, AND JUDGING AGENCIES AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS FROM ANY CLAIM, LOSS, EXPENSE (INCLUDING LEGAL FEES) OR OTHER LIABILITY, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST OR THE AWARDING, ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY TRAVEL ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMIX RETREAT COMPONENT OF THE PRIZE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore such exclusions may not apply to you. Without limiting the foregoing, Sponsor, Contest judges and the Promotion Entities, and any of Sponsor's other suppliers or contractors, shall not be responsible for: (a) any incomplete or inaccurate information that is caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest; (b) lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, service provider, on-line systems, telephone networks or telephone lines, or any other connections; (c) the theft, destruction, loss or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (d) any problems with, or malfunctions or failures of, telephone networks or lines, computers or computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, viruses or bugs; (e) failure of any e-mail to be received by or from the Contest judges or Sponsor for any reason, including but not limited to traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof or technical incompatibility; (f) damage to a user's computer equipment (software or hardware) occasioned by participation or downloading of materials related to this Contest; (g) printing, distribution, programming or production errors, and any other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise; (h) technical, pictorial, typographical or editorial errors or omissions contained herein; or (i) any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or related to travel or accommodations associated with the Remix Retreat, including but not limited to flight delays, cancellations, resort closures, or acts of nature.

12. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PUBLICITY RELEASE

Sponsor and its authorized agents will collect, use, and disclose the personal information you provide when you enter the Contest for the purposes of administering the Contest and Prize fulfillment, including but not limited to verifying Custom Index creation activity, deposit amounts, and account status. To claim the Prize, the winner will be required to sign a Release, in which the winner grants to the Sponsor, its affiliates, and its and their respective successors, assigns, and licensees the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable right and licence to use, reproduce, edit, modify, adapt, translate, publish, broadcast, livestream, distribute, display, publicly perform, and create derivative works from the winner's name, city and province of residence, voice, image, likeness, biographical information, statements, and any photographs, film, video, and audio recordings of or featuring the winner, including content captured at any filmed handoff event, on-camera interviews, photo sessions, behind-the-scenes recording during the Remix Retreat, and other Promotional Activities (collectively, the “Winner Content”), in any and all media or formats whether now known or hereafter developed, in connection with the Contest, the Sponsor's business, and the marketing and promotion of the Sponsor's products and services, without any further compensation, approval, notice, or attribution. The winner irrevocably waives, in favour of the Sponsor and all of its successors, assigns, licensees, and other authorized users, all moral rights in the Winner Content to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. The Release will include a corresponding undertaking from the winner to procure equivalent consents, licences and moral rights waivers from the winner's guest (if any) and from any other natural person whose name, voice, image, or likeness appears in any Winner Content the winner contributes to or makes available to the Sponsor. The winner releases the Sponsor and the Promotion Entities from any liability with respect to the foregoing.
