With QuestMobile, we rebuilt the trading experience from the ground up. We will be continuously adding tools and expanding account management capabilities, so keep your version updated to make sure you always have the latest features.

Enhanced login experience

  • Starting with the login experience, we’ve simplified the process of accessing your account right away.
  • When you log in for the first time, depending on your mobile device’s available hardware, you may be asked to set up your biometric ID. (Fingerprint or Face ID/recognition)
  • Log in securely in seconds so you never miss a trading opportunity again.

Research tools powered by TipRanks are integrated into your trading platform at no extra cost. These tools provide a suite of features to aid your trading decisions:

  • Trending Stocks: Discover stocks that are making significant market movements. You can filter results based on best/worst/most rated stocks, sector, and market cap.
  • Smart Score: Helps evaluate stock performance using analyst ratings and news sentiment.
  • Analyst Ratings: Provides a quick cheat sheet to gauge market sentiment for specific stocks, showing a stock’s target price and recommendation (buy, hold, or sell).
  • News Analysis: Categorizes news articles into "bullish" and "bearish" sentiments, giving you insights into current investor sentiment towards specific stocks.

Stay ahead with real-time snap quote prices for stocks and ETFs. With only a single tap, this feature helps you monitor the market accurately and make informed decisions.

Seeking Alpha market insights

In order to serve you with a broader spectrum of news, Questrade has integrated the news feed from Seeking Alpha into our platforms, completely free of charge.

Seeking Alpha is the world’s largest investing community, helping connect investors to share new investing ideas, discuss news, and make better informed investment decisions.

At the bottom of a stock or ETF’s quote page, you’ll see the market insights section powered by Seeking Alpha.

Check out the latest online commentary about your favourite stock or ETF, and toggle between Bulls say and Bears say.

Bulls generally believe in positive outcomes, and provide commentary that supports their position that the stock or ETF will continue to rise in price and outperform.

QuestMobile Bulls say news

Whereas Bears generally believe in negative outcomes, and will state their opinions about the stock or ETF’s downside, usually predicting underperformance.

Order Entry preference

Every trader has unique preferences when it comes to placing orders.

Customize your Order Entry preferences, allowing you to tailor your trading experience to suit your style. Choose between Multi-page Order Entry or Single-page Order Entry.

This view offers a guided, step-by-step approach to order entry. It's ideal for ensuring every part of your trade is carefully considered.

 

Single-page Order Entry:

Designed for more experienced traders who prefer efficiency. All necessary fields for order entry are available on one page.

This page lets you make quick decisions and trades, perfect for a fast-moving market.

Both options are designed to provide a smooth and intuitive trading experience, so you can focus on making the best decisions tailored to your strategy.

Extended Trading Hours

Trade during extended hours with the QuestMobile app and take action on a more flexible schedule.

You can access pre and post-market trading on eligible symbols from 7 am ET to 8 pm ET, Monday to Friday.

Dark mode

Enabling Dark mode on QuestMobile

Personalize your trading platform with Light mode and Dark mode.

To toggle on this feature, tap the Menu on the top left of the screen, then Settings, General, and select Theme. It's all about making your trading environment as comfortable as possible.

 

Discreet mode

Discreet mode on QuestMobile

For extra privacy, turn on Discreet Mode. This feature hides your Total equity balance within the QuestMobile app.

To enable Discreet Mode, tap the Menu in the top left, go to Settings, select Investing, and toggle on Discreet Mode.

 

Nicknames

Account Nicknames on QuestMobile

Personalize your accounts for quick identification. Set up nicknames whenever you want through the Settings menu - it’s a simple way to keep your investments organized.

 

Learning mode

Key Statistics on Questmobile

Built into the QuestMobile app is an on-screen Learning mode that is enabled by default.

Learning mode helps learn new trading terminology, and understand how the market works so you can become a better trader.

Discreet Mode on QuestMobile
  1. Tap the hamburger Menu in the top left-hand corner, select Settings, then Investing and toggle on/off Learning mode.
    • Here, you can also turn on Discreet mode.
  2. Tap the Orange question mark bubble on any page to enable Learning mode.
    • With Learning mode enabled, you can tap on any orange-highlighted part of the screen to display a pop-up with more information at the bottom of your screen.

Note: Some elements on the page may have a Learn more button along with an explanation. Tap the button for more detailed information with diagrams and visuals in a full-screen view.

We’ve designed Learning mode to help make complicated trading terms easier to understand, especially for first-time traders on the stock or ETF quote pages.
