Customizing watchlists

Keeping an eye on stocks, and ETFs is made easier with watchlists. Organize and plan your portfolio to meet your goals before investing.

The Watchlists table has three main features: Add Symbol, Create Watchlist, and Edit Watchlist. Let's go through each one.

To access your watchlist, simply tap on the Watchlists icon below the graph on the homepage in the All accounts view.

• At the top of the page, you’ll see a snapshot of major market indexes like the Nasdaq Composite, or S&P/TSX 60. Swipe left to scroll through these indexes.
• You can also tap the profit & loss numbers (the numbers in green or red bubbles) to switch between viewing changes in percentages or dollars.

Below the market indexes, you will find tabs for Watchlists, Events, Trending, and News. These tabs provide information about your stocks and the overall market.

Creating a watchlist

Create as many watchlists as you’d like, and stay on top of market movements that are important to you.

Please note: The following quotes and ticker symbols are for example educational purposes only.

1. Select the 3 dots on the right and then tap Create a new watchlist.
2. Choose a name for your watchlist, then select Add symbol. The Symbol lookup bar will appear, which lets you search and choose up to 50 stocks or ETFs to add to your list.
   • At the top of the Symbol lookup bar, you can also filter between your recent searches, Top gainers, Most Active stocks and more.
   • When you have added a stock to your watchlist, the star on the right side of the screen will turn gold.
3. When you are finished, select Done in the top right corner.

Editing a watchlist

Editing a watchlist allows you to rearrange the order of the list, remove stocks/ETFs and delete watchlists quickly and easily.

To edit a watchlist, select the three dots and choose Edit this watchlist. From the edit view, you have a few options:

• Rearrange your watchlist with the Sort button on the screen's right side. 
  • To view your watchlist alphabetically or reverse alphabetically, select either A-Z or Z-A. If you prefer a custom order, choose Custom, then tap and hold the icon with two lines on the left side of the symbol and drag it to your desired position.
• If you want to remove a watchlist, select Delete watchlist in the top-right corner.
• To remove a symbol from your watchlist, select the red X icon on the right and then Delete.
• Select Save at the top of the screen to finish creating your watchlist.
