Shareholder Communications

Learn about shareholder communications and how to get them as an investor.

Public traded companies file documents (shareholder communications) to their shareholders every year. This usually includes the company's operations, major announcements, future plans, and financial statements. As a shareholder, you have the right to get these documents and can also partake in key company decisions through voting. Voting typically includes the election of board directors (BOD), proposals for mergers or acquisitions, or changes in company operations and dividends. This may come in the form of a proxy vote (along with a proxy statement) where shareholders can cast a ballot for company changes.

You either receive shareholder communications via physical mail or electronically (email), depending on how you initially set up your account. To change your preference on how you receive your shareholder communication, simply request a change to one of our customer service agents via:
