Database Developer/DBA

Questrade, a high growth brokerage company, is looking for a Database Developer/DBA to participate in the development of a large-scale, best-in-class application. Responsibilities

Work with team to plan, design, estimate and document solutions
Facilitate the efficient & effective completion of multiple concurrent projects
Analyze data model requirements from functional specification, formulating database designs and Entities/Attributes/Relationships definitions
Manage database administration tasks including performance tuning, backup and recovery, administration and monitoring of internal databases

Intermediate Business Analyst (6 month contract)

The business analyst serves as a liaison between the Questrade’s sales, back-office, finance, compliance departments and the e-Business department. The key responsibility is to gather requirements from project stakeholders and end-users and refine and translate them into detailed functional specifications.

Responsibilities

Conducting interviews with subject matter experts, management, and end-users.
Elicit, define, analyze and document requirements for new projects and enhancements to existing applications.

Key accountabilities:
