To purchase gold
You must have an open account with sufficient funds. If you do not currently have an account at Questrade, get started today. The pricing of our products are indicative only and may change upon confirmation of purchase or sale of the actual product.
Gold orders are accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET. Orders will be processed at approximately 3 p.m. at the market price. Larger orders (over $10,000 USD) received between 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. can be placed immediately.
Please phone in your order to our trade desk, toll free, at 1.888.783.7866 (when prompted press 2) or call 1.866.980.9590. We will need your account number, product description, and the number of units to be purchased.
Additional fees
For clients who are maintaining USD in their RESP: On any day in which you trade a USD security (including gold) in your RESP, you will be charged a $5 commission. This is a flat, per-day commission, no matter how many trades are made.
